Fire crews in Chester, PA, were busy Tuesday night battling two separate fires within an hour of each other.

6ABC reported that the first fire broke out just after 6 p.m. on West 9th Street, between Fulton and Barclay streets.

Crews battled flames inside a three-story building.

According to Frank Wesnoski, who shot the video, E82, E83, L82 and Squirt 81 responded with 12 firefighters.

Crews were quickly pulled out of the dwelling as conditions deteriorated.

About 15 minutes into the fire the building suffered a significant collapse of the front of the building.

About an hour later, crews were called to a massive fire coming from a building on the Avenue of the States at 6th street, according to 6ABC.

Heavy smoke and flames could be seen coming from the structure.

Wesnoski reported that the Chester Fire Commissioner as well as several cover companies responded to the second incident.

Crews forced entry and mounted an interior attack, but as conditions worsened and the integrity of the roof was called into question crews were evacuated from the interior.

Crews set up several elevated master streams and went defensive.

Additional mutual aid companies were needed to control the second fire.
